I am an English specialist with over 30 years’ experience of teaching and tutoring students from primary through to university level. I am a writing lead in school and have consistently supported students to achieve excellent results.
My main focus is primary education (Years 3–6), where I help pupils develop confidence in reading, grammar, both the transcriptional and compositional aspects of writing, and prepare effectively for KS2 SATs. I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students, as well as supporting university students with English essays, law essays and lab reports.
I adapt every lesson to the individual learner, breaking down complex ideas and helping students express themselves clearly and confidently in writing.
