About Tracy

I’m an experienced English teacher with a passion for language, culture, and helping students feel confident using English in real-world situations. I’ve taught in London, Berlin, China, and Australia over the past 30 years, working with learners from many different backgrounds. I believe confidence is the key to language learning so I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and using the language taught in class. Outside of teaching, I love travelling, exploring Australia, reading and cooking.

About the lesson

I offer 60-minute online English lessons for teenagers and adults, focusing on Academic English (including SACE Stages I and II), IELTS, and PTE preparation. Lessons are personalised to match each student’s goals — whether that’s improving essay writing, speaking, paraphrasing, reading, or listening skills.
I am happy to provide students with an outline of future lessons and homework and study guides. (If you would like a sample send me a message)
I use authentic materials (videos, articles, podcasts) along with worksheets and PowerPoint slides. The pace, content, and difficulty are always adapted to each learner’s needs and learning style.
My goal is to help students build both skills and confidence in their English — and enjoy the learning process along the way.
