About Jennifer
I have been a substitute teacher for kindergarten through eighth grade for one year, resident substitute teacher for kindergarten through fifth grade for one year, and a kindergarten teacher for two years. I have tutored multiple students through the summer for grades kindergarten through fifth grade for two years. I ran a science camp for one summer. I also taught STEM lab for kindergarten through third grade for one year. I have my associate's degree in Science of Firearms, Licensed Vocational Nurse (pediatrics), and Phlebotomy. I have my bachelor's in Divinity of Religion for Christian Ministry, and I am currently in my last semester of attaining my Master's in Elementary Education. I am certified in CPR, advanced Gunsmith, nursing assistant, and received my certified teaching credential. I have volunteered in multiple children's church programs; and coached soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf for kids.

My teaching methods and techniques are tailored to each student's individual needs. A typical lesson targets what each student is struggling with or what homework they need support with. Each lesson or session is for any student in a general education class from kindergarten through fifth grade. I am a dedicated tutor who approaches and adapts to what each student needs. Students have different learning styles and I will use those styles to grow their abilities and build a solid foundation of knowledge.
