About Zsigmond

I am a 23 year old electrical engineering student from Budapest, Hungary. Although I studied some modeling and animation at university, I would still call myself a self-taught animator. I am using the free and open-source animation software called Blender and my goal is to help students at the beginning of its quite steep learning curve.

In my free time, I am making mostly educational videos for TikTok, with animations that help the viewers understand maths and physics. Account: @zsigmonds_inventions (Hungarian language is used)

About the lesson

At first sight, creating animations seems like a quite difficult thing to do. Fortunately, that is not exactly the case thanks to today's powerful, still user-friendly software tools, that are easily accessible to everyone. I am teaching students to the basics of 2D animation using the free and open-source tool: Blender. During my "learning by doing" lessons, I am trying my best to let students unleash their creativity, through projects that they prefer personally.
As a tutor I have experience in teaching the basics of programming to small groups of kids (8-12 years old), and I also had private students learning animation and physics.
