Hi! I’m a junior Elementary Education major, COE Scholar, and Teaching Fellow at ECU with hands-on classroom experience and a passion for student success. I offer tutoring for K-6 students in math, literacy, reading comprehension, and writing, and I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every learner.
My tutoring style is student-centered and culturally responsive—I believe students learn best when their identities, cultures, and strengths are acknowledged and celebrated. I use interactive, visual, and hands-on methods to keep lessons engaging and meaningful.
A typical session starts with a quick warm-up or review, followed by a mini-lesson targeting a specific skill or concept, and then guided practice using games, manipulatives, or real-world applications. I always wrap up with reflection and goal-setting to keep students motivated and confident.
