About Eric
"I provide immediate feedback on your technique while keeping a steady pace that reflects your individual progress and learning speed. Since I am a BMus graduate, I create custom backing tracks so students can practise soloing at home with professional level accompaniment. We move through essential skills like reading tabs and mastering power chords before moving on to the complexities of scales and modes. My experience over 9 years allows me to manage the needs of grade exam candidates who require precision alongside the creativity needed for songwriting.
Whether we are adjusting your strumming patterns or discussing guitar tuning and maintenance, I ensure every minute contributes to your overall success. I take pride in providing a structured environment where even the most challenging concepts become clear and attainable. By the end of our time, you will have a concrete plan to reach your next milestone with confidence."

My background as a BMus graduate allows me to break down music theory into manageable pieces that actually make sense during a session.
