About Hope
I am a multi- citizen of the USA, UK, and New Zealand. I previously worked as an Outdoor Instructor in sea kayaking, rock climbing, and tramping in the South Island of New Zealand, so naturally, I love the outdoors! One of my biggest passions is teaching. I left the outdoor instruction world because I realised that it wasn't the rocks that were drawing me in, but watching students learn, grow, and achieve. To this end, I have been working as a tutor and teacher for the last 3 years and would love to have you as my next student!

I come from a background of teaching and use a combination of tailored resources, worksheets, and lessons to create a learner centered approach, helping you to achieve. I have had success by building a supportive 'growth mindset' environment for students from year 1 to 9, ensuring that engagement and interest are high. I have worked as a tutor and a coach for 3 years, and now have extensive classroom experience through my teaching programme at Victoria University. Lessons can be customised, but typically range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.
