About Teodora

I’m Teddy from Torbay, a TEFL-certified English teacher with over four years of experience in interpreting and teaching. What I love most about my work is helping people bridge language gaps by making learning feel as natural, calm, and relaxed as possible.

I’ve had the privilege of watching my students grow in confidence, improve their communication skills, and, in many cases, make their lives in the UK easier and more independent.

About the lesson

Because of my background as a public-service interpreter, I can introduce you to real-life situations you’re likely to face in the UK - often before they happen. This helps you feel prepared, confident, and able to handle everyday challenges using your English.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and English Literature and a 220-hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma with observed teaching practice. English is a huge passion of mine, and I love helping learners discover that it can be expressive, practical, and enjoyable - not intimidating.

Many learners understand English well but struggle to speak confidently or find the right words in the moment. This is very common and completely normal! My approach focuses on reducing that anxiety through gentle, structured exposure to English with lessons which are practical, supportive, and always tailored to you. We work with speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every session, using real-life scenarios, authentic materials, guided tasks, and role-plays.

At the core of everything, I simply love teaching! My aim is to help you move from thinking in English to using English with more ease, confidence, and clarity - without pressure or judgement.
