About Kelsey
I’m a Canadian-born, native English speaker and TEFL-certified teacher with over five years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from all over the world of different ages and English levels, helping them build confidence and fluency.
After university in Toronto, I traveled extensively around Europe and Asia full-time, where I was able to experience living in a number of different countries over the course of 5 years. I love traveling, experiencing different cultures, languages, outdoor activities, weightlifting, and all things health and wellness. I also work in healthcare.
As someone who also studies languages (Italian and French), I understand the challenges students face and approach every lesson with patience and encouragement. My goal is to create a comfortable, motivating space where students feel confident practicing and speaking English.

My lessons are structured, communicative, and provide an immersive English experience that encourages active use of the language from the very beginning. I focus on real-life communication while building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s level, goals, and learning style to ensure steady and measurable progress.
A typical lesson begins with a short review or conversation warm-up, followed by a clear learning objective. We then move into guided practice and interactive speaking activities that allow students to apply new language in context. Lessons conclude with constructive feedback and clear next steps for continued improvement.
With over five years of experience teaching one-on-one lessons and group classes, I adapt instruction to different ages, levels, and learning needs. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident, motivated, and comfortable speaking English.
My lessons are suitable for learners of all ages and proficiency levels, from beginners building fundamentals to advanced students refining fluency.
