About Alexis
Hi! I'm Alexis, and am a graduate of Arizona State University. I studied English and Art History, so I am very passionate about literature. I also enjoy creative writing, especially in the mystery genre. Other things I enjoy are anime, manga, music, and reading! I hope to be able to connect with you and guide you along your learning journey.

My teaching methods depend on the age group that I am teaching, so I will outline for each group that I am trained for. Adults: I like to keep these sessions focused and make sure the group does not feel judged whatsoever. It's important for me to be supportive, correct mistakes with care, and guide them towards success. Kids: I like to have a little bit more fun with this age group, as I find that it helps them retain the information more. I'll use stuffed animals to demonstrate vocabulary words, utilize listen and repeat techniques, and check in frequently.
