About Kristina
I am a career changer that worked at an investment bank for 10 years before I transitioned to become an Adolescent Special Education teacher. I began student teaching in 2021 in a middle school setting working with struggling learners in science, ELA and math. I then shifted my focus from middle school to high school, working in several leave replacement capacities and multiple subjects. In 2022, I was hired as a full- time probationary high school special education teacher supporting an underserved population in upstate New York. As of 2026, I have received tenure as a special education teacher supporting students in government, economics, ELA, and math classes throughout my years.
