About Khailan
My goal as a tutor is to help others in achieving their goals of learning or improving their English. (Duh.) But more importantly, it’s also to give others the chance to expand their knowledge in ways that may not be necessary or super helpful, and inspire confidence in their intelligence. Learning languages is tough, and not everyone is up for the task, especially if the language is super complex. I believe people should feel great about their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. If you want something to feel proud of that doesn’t take four years at a university or something, learning a language is a great option. You learn at your pace, on your time. And if you decide it’s not for you, there’s no shame in deciding to stop. It’s something you do for yourself, not for anyone else. That time and effort shouldn’t affect anyone’s judgement of you.

My teaching methods emphasize fluency in everyday use of the English language. Typically through communicative learning. Other methods I use include fun projects or games to help familiarize learners outside of social situations, namely to understand things like slang terms or phrases. My lessons could help those looking to increase fluency for communication with English speaking friends, travel, add additional study for school, or to prepare for tests. Rest assured that I’ll have only your education in mind, your broth is important to me. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, or to have me clarify something you don’t understand. Learning a language is hard, and not many can improve without asking questions when something confuses them.
