I plan with the end in mind, so the key component to successful instruction is knowing your students and their goals, whether that be improving their writing, reading with greater comprehension, or passing a test. I strive to understand each student personally and keep lines of communication open.
I am currently a reading specialist in the Dallas area, but I have 21 years' experience teaching English reading and writing to mostly elementary grades K-5, but have also taught adults in college both in a traditional class, virtually and individual tutoring settings.
