About Rigby
I am a current theater/technical theater student in university. I have a large range of experience from my first role as Santa Claus to my most recent position as a director. In the past I've worked on acting, musical theater, leading an improv team, directing, stage managing, and much more!

My teaching method is one that allows students to be creative and have a non-judgmental and comforting learning experience. I work well with younger audiences, being able to balance a fun yet meaningful lesson. I'm also a young adult, and can have an easier time relating to a youth's experience and opinion. I also have experience with both the acting side and technical side of theater. So I can provide education for both within one teaching experience. A typical lesson plan can majorly change from person to person and depending on what the major interest is. But, my goal is to have weekly lessons, where the students can work on a creative project, which they can continue working on outside of class. Then we can talk again and discover ways to evolve what was worked on. This not only allows the student to grow, but it gives the student an opportunity to be creative outside of class. In other cases, when the student has a current project already, I can provide ways to have a meaningful and deeper understanding of what is being worked on. Being able to break down a project and discover skills that can be used in the future. The main demographic that I would work well with, is about grade 5 to grade 9 students. Though I'm happy to have some flexibility.
