About CTN
I am a philosophy and theology student at the University of Edinburgh. A passionate reader, my main wish is that you come away from my lessons inspired as well as competent. I have found that the best way to succeed in the humanities is to create the ease and confidence that gives your ideas flare. We will then ground your ideas in dependable essay structures and writing styles that will enable you to consistently score highly.

My lessons are usually 50 minutes long. I create tailored notes which are the basis of a lesson plan and can be then used to revise with. I teach with conversation and debate, and aim to open up a more approachable, enjoyable style of learning. Being a young person myself I create a relationship with my students; fostering genuine interest and enthusiasm.
I am able to teach from Key Stage 1 to A level and am happy to learn new content in order to do so.
