I am a passionate reader, writer, and overall literature nerd! My passion for all things 'words' blossomed from engaging and fun lessons as a child. My goal is to ensure that my students leave my lessons feeling inspired, and seeing language and literature not merely as "homework", but a pleasure.

First and foremost, I believe that in order to learn one must be enjoying themselves! My lessons are designed to get kids or adults thinking creatively in the way they write. For young learners, I prefer a more teacher-centred approach, allowing the children to feel comfortable in their creativity. The best writing, whether is in the form of an A Level English Literature exam, or a poem written by a ten year old, has character. My job is to give my students confidence in their language and grammar. For more mature learners, I favour a constructivist and for younger students, I adopt student centred approach. However, flexibility is key, and I purposefully keep my lesson plans flexible, so the student's needs are always met.
