About Aryan

Hi, I'm Aryan, an Economics undergraduate at Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge. I achieved 9.0/9.0 in the TMUA and A* grades in both A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

I specialise in helping TMUA students tackle unfamiliar problems and explain why a method works. Having recently completed the admissions process myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to review a solution but still struggle with a similar question later.

My approach is patient, interactive and focused on your reasoning. We identify what is holding you back, build the underlying ideas and practise choosing efficient methods independently.

Specialist one-to-one online preparation for both TMUA papers, tailored to your current level and target.

We start with questions or a paper you have attempted and identify exactly where marks are being lost: a gap in understanding, a missed first step, a lengthy method or a timing decision.

Paper 1: algebra, functions, graphs, sequences, trigonometry and mathematical problem-solving.
Paper 2: logic, proof, necessary and sufficient conditions, and assessing mathematical arguments.

You attempt problems first, then we use prompts and compare methods so you learn how to recognise useful ideas yourself. We combine targeted practice with timed questions and review mistakes until you can explain and repeat the reasoning independently.

Lessons normally last 60 minutes. The free 30-minute introduction is a chance to discuss your preparation, goals and the support you need.
