I have twenty years experience helping students over their own individual stumbling blocks. Working out exactly what's holding you back and focussing on it means you can make quick progress. I can help you become confident in essay planning and writing, understanding and writing about English and drama, and also with acting skills. I work in theatre as a professional writer and director and have a first class Oxford degree. I promise it's not as hard as you think.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a First Class BA (Hons) degree in English from Oxford University, and an MA (with distinction) in Theatre from Royal Holloway College, University of London. I work professionally in the theatre as a writer and director, and as an acting teacher. I was head of Foundation Acting, at Arts Educational Schools in London for five years, from 2009-14.

I charge £30 an hour with discounts for bookings of 5 or 10 lessons.

I teach Mondays to Fridays, between 1 and 6pm

I tutor ages 14 and up.

I teach via Skype or Facebook video call.

You don't have to choose between a friendly tutor and high standards. I don't believe in making things needlessly difficult and stressful. With a little bit of extra work, you can get a really long way.
