About Aashaka

Dancing is a skill which aligns your mind and body and improves coordination whilst acquiring a new skill set and becoming refreshed at the same time. Classical dance also brings discipline into one's lifestyle. I believe this is a holistic way of improving one's lifestyle and as a professional I can assure students of gaining a fruitful experience.

About the lesson

I am professional kathak and Bollywood dancer trained from Aaradhya Dance Academy India. I have been teaching students of all ages ranging from children ages 4/5 to adults, for the past one year. I prefer to provide a minimum of 1 hour and maximum of 3 hours of lessons, as required by the client.
I believe Any form of dancing should be refreshing and joyful. My teaching style aims at refreshing the student whilst learning new skills. I prefer to create a bond of friendship with the student and share my personal experiences from which they can learn too; that way it is fun to learn.

Aashaka is an excellent maths teacher who was able to improve my year 9 maths scores from an average of 40% to 85%. This gave me a very strong foundation for my upcoming HSCs. She is very organised and helps her students with not only maths, but setting out weekly study plans and takes out extra time to give out and mark our homework. Aashaka is so encouraging and positive. I can't recommend her enough.
