About Josie
My name is Josie Pullenger and I am passionate about teaching. I am married and have a young son called Silas. For part of the week, I teach at a local primary school. I thoroughly enjoy my job, but I also really enjoy the one-on-one aspect of tutoring and how I can give undivided attention to one student. Because I am currently teaching in the classroom, I am up to date with my teaching registration and the NZ Curriculum. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing netball, going for walks, baking, and being creative by scrapbooking of making cards.

I believe that it is important to build positive relationships with my students in order for them to be successful in their learning. I offer individualised, needs-based tutoring that accelerates their academic progress. Lessons will be hands-on, fun, engaging and high-impact. I can tie in the learning they are doing at school, and work alongside their teacher to help accelerate their progress and help them to achieve their learning goals faster.
