About Gareth
I trained with National Youth Theatre (NYT). A CertEd degree and a Level 3 in Performing Arts. I have worked professionally since the age of 18, adapting my skills to suit the changing industry. I have worked on the holiday parks presenting, mascot work, puppetry and kids/adult host. I have worked every Christmas season in Pantomime playing a variety of characters from dame, comic and even villain. With my business partner, we own Tickled Trout Productions, which focuses on producing family entertainment throughout the country. Also produce tailored birthday parties for children too around the North East. My teaching experience is ongoing. I have been a performing arts teacher for nearly 5 years now and I still work in the industry to keep my knowledge fresh and my teaching style up-to-date. I only work in term time and will work around the student. I am very flexible too.

Experienced in one-to-one tutoring, group classes. Age range from 4 to 18 plus. Lessons from 30 minutes to 1 hour. LAMDA exams or audition prep. Graded exams from introduction to grade 8. Also PCertLAM, level 3 teaching qualification. I will work closely with the student to enhance their performing ability, developing their understanding and core knowledge of the industry. The lessons begin with a tailored plan to suit the student's needs and what they hope to gain from the lessons. Then the lessons are planned to develop their skills from start, with home learning to improve their techniques. My skills include: Presenting, Acting, Accents, Contemporary/Classical, Pantomime, Slapstick comedy, Improvisation and confidence building.

Perfect! Gareth was very friendly very approachable and easy to talk to. I instantly felt comfortable and he asked me about myself so the lessons can be tailored to what I need as an aspiring actress! He was excellent.
