About Marwa
Hi! I’m Marwa, and I’ve just finished my GCSEs and will be moving on to A-Levels this September. I am passionate about helping younger students understand their subjects in a clear and simple way, especially as I know how stressful school can feel sometimes. I achieved strong grades in my GCSEs and love making learning feel less overwhelming, helping you build confidence step-by-step. I offer online tutoring for KS3 maths, English, and science, and can also help with homework, revision strategies, and building effective study habits. In your lessons, you will start by greeting the student warmly to make them feel comfortable, then ask what they remember or struggle with in the topic to check their current understanding. You will share your screen using Zoom or Google Meet, using a whiteboard app to explain concepts step-by-step with clear, simple examples, such as working through a fractions problem in maths or analysing a short paragraph in English. After explaining, you will give the student a similar question to try themselves while you guide them if they get stuck, building their confidence. At the end of the session, you will summarise what they learned and set a small, achievable task (like a practice question) for them to complete before the next lesson. Throughout, you will stay patient, encourage questions, and adapt your pace to ensure they fully understand before moving on.
