About Lavanya
My name is Lavanya, and I am a Learning Specialist based in Vancouver, Canada, with professional experience supporting students with dyslexia and learning differences. I have completed specialized training with several members of the Orton-Gillingham Academy and currently work with students in one-on-one and small group settings. I am known for my patient, structured approach and my commitment to helping each child feel confident, supported, and capable in their learning journey.

I offer structured, patient literacy support for children with dyslexia and other learning needs. My lessons use a clear, step-by-step, multi-sensory approach (Orton-Gillingham) that helps students strengthen reading, spelling, and writing skills while building confidence. Each class includes review, guided instruction, and practice tailored to the child’s individual learning pace.
