UMB Almost-Grad Teaches English Lit, Writing, & Low-level Psych in Dorchester
Methodology
I am currently 17 credit hours away from graduating from UMass Boston with a BA in English and a minor in Psychology. I have taken education classes and passed the MTEL. I am very interested in the science of learning and love to explore creative teaching methods. If you have a preferred method of learning (auditory, visual, etc) I'll be happy to cater to it.
Background
I have had some experience student teaching in high school classrooms in conjunction with college education programs. I also tutored students ages 10 and 12 twice a week for 6 months and the 12 year old got into the exam school she was studying for.
