About Isobel
My name is Isobel and I am an undergrad honors student working towards a degree in history. I am originally from Vancouver, Canada but live in Montreal for university.
I have always had a passion for writing and find a genuine joy in doing so. A large part of my degree is writing so I have got my processes down to a perfected routine and would love to share my knowledge with others. I understand how hard it can be to get over writer's block or feel like you can't improve past a certain level so I have my tips and tricks for overcoming this. I am open to tutoring in English or in any social sciences!
When I am not writing you can find me reading, spending time with my friends or with my dog or walking around the city!

When it comes to teaching I like to break down the requirements of the assignment and turn it into actionable steps. Essay writing can be daunting and seem like a big task so I like to break it down and go through each part. We always start with creating a strong thesis and then move onto the framework of the essay.
I have a passion for writing and teaching, either in social studies or in English. I am very patient and understand everyone learns different so I like to adjust my approach depending on the student. I work with students ranging from middle school all the way to high school.
