Hello! I am a cheerful and upbeat person and perfect for any parent looking to hire a part-time tutor for their kid! I love teaching young children because they are so bright and love to learn.
I've learned from my own experience being undiagnosed with ADHD going through school that some kids just need a little more help than others to understand concepts and that's perfectly okay! It just takes some patience (which I'm full of) and a willingness to connect with the student.
Based on the material that they need to learn I will construct a lesson plan for each individual I tutor even if it means I have to go back and study myself!! I think most kids respond well to repetition and going step by step in any process and those are the main ways I help children understand various concepts but the type of plans will depend on the child.
I can teach anyone up until a HIGHSCHOOL OR BELOW level, especially in the English and Reading department. I also love doing math with kids and it is something I have tutored others in various times up until the level of Precalculus.
But I love a personal connection with students and the families to reach a better understanding and to achieve similar goals to help in the learning process!
