About Marissa
I am a student at heart and I generally prefer learning over teaching, however I also realize that often times as one teaches they will also learn something new in the process. And so it is a give and take scenario in which both parties stand to benefit from. From a teaching standpoint I realize that everyone has different teaching and learning styles and I desire to approach helping someone learn in a way that fits them best.

I believe that the best way to learn a new language is through the art of communication and real life conversations. As a student I appreciate the context that a textbook can provide however they cannot replicate the raw experience one goes through while actively attemtping to communicate with someone from a different culture and background on a day to day basis.
