About Mita
My name is Mita Shanmugam and I am currently an undergraduate student at King's College London. Having been through the International Baccalaureate and earning the diploma, I relate firsthand to the stress of not being able to understand a topic or concept. Even though I have been a tutor for the past 3 years, this experience in particular has motivated me to help students, regardless of their age, to get over that barrier, boost their confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Each one of my lessons will be around 45 mins to an hour (depending on the student's wishes). The lessons will be structured on a weekly basis, meaning each week an important element of the learning subject will be observed, absorbed/comprehended, and completed. This way there is enough time to get through a topic efficiently without rushing it. I have tutored students the past 3 years at schools in Bahrain and Dubai in subjects such as English, writing, reading, psychology, business, as well as maths. These lessons will be suitable for elementary to high school students (around grade 3 up to grade 10).
