About Anya
Hi, I'm Anya! I'm a university student with real, hands-on experience teaching young people — from mentoring debate to running workshops on communication and critical thinking. I understand what it takes to help a child truly grasp English, not just memorize it: patience, clear explanations, and lessons that actually hold their attention.
I take tutoring seriously. Every lesson is planned around your child's specific level and goals, and I track their progress so you can see real improvement over time. My aim isn't just to help with homework — it's to build lasting skills in reading, spelling, critical thinking, and confident communication that will serve your child well beyond the lesson itself.

My approach is all about making English feel practical and engaging, not just rules to memorize. I mix structured practice (reading comprehension, spelling drills, grammar basics) with real conversation and critical thinking exercises — things like discussing a short story, debating a topic, or breaking down an argument — so kids build both skills and confidence at the same time. For younger students I keep things playful and interactive; for teens I lean more into discussion and independent thinking.
Lessons typically run 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's age and attention span — shorter and more game-based for younger kids, longer and more discussion-driven for teens.
I'm a current university student with hands-on experience in public speaking and debate coaching, which shapes how I teach communication and critical thinking. I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on helping each student actually improve, not just get through material.
My lessons are for kids and young teens (ages 6–14), at all levels — whether your child needs extra support catching up, wants to build confidence, or is looking to sharpen their reading, writing, and speaking skills.
