About Oona
As a recent graduate I still feel a great deal of passion towards my chosen topic of study -English Literature - and am currently cultivating a desire to help others find this same passion. I have always loved learning and academia but experienced a struggle with self-confidence whilst I was at school which damaged my ability to perform well. I believe that personalised tutoring helps students overcome those kinds of struggles and become the best learners they can be.

I aim to help students build up a confidence in their chosen subject which not only goes towards improving exam results but which encourages students to find and cultivate a passion for learning. This means that I will focus not only on curriculum teaching and what they are covering in school but on finding a niche for each student - a unique way into the subject which helps them want to learn more. I have five years of experience tutoring family and friends and classroom experience from working as an English Language assistant in spain. Lessons can be for any person of any level!
