About Kristen

Hello! I’m a university graduate and a passionate English tutor who enjoys helping people become more comfortable and confident with English. I believe that learning a language is about more than just knowing the rules—it’s about being able to communicate, express yourself, and feel comfortable using English in real situations.

I’m patient, approachable, and happy to work with students from different backgrounds and levels. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to listen to each student and adapt my lessons to their needs and goals.

Whether you’re learning English for everyday conversation, travel, school, work, or simply want to improve your overall skills, I’m here to help you make steady progress in a relaxed and supportive environment.

About the lesson

I believe learning English should be comfortable, practical, and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient and personalized, and I adjust my lessons based on each student’s level, goals, interests, and areas where they need the most help.

I like to use conversation, questions, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, and real-life examples during my lessons. I want students to actually use the English they are learning, rather than simply memorize rules. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes, because mistakes are a natural part of learning.

A typical lesson may begin with a short conversation or review of something we worked on previously. From there, we focus on the main goal for the lesson and spend plenty of time practicing. We can finish by reviewing what we learned and discussing what the student can work on before our next lesson.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is getting to know each student and finding ways to make English easier and more interesting for them. I don’t believe every student learns in exactly the same way, so I try to make my lessons flexible and suited to the individual.

My lessons are for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners of different ages and backgrounds. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, or overall confidence, I will work with you to help you reach your English goals.
