About Nur
The goals I aspire to reach as a teacher is aiding the students' learning into successful adults, ready and prepared for the tough world of work. As I am simply aiding their learning, I will allow students to discover what they enjoy and what career they intend to pursue instead of pushing one specific sector of work. This will allow students to self-reflect allowing them to strengthen their weaknesses and develop their strengths in pursue of their individual goals and aspirations.
I believe the qualities a teacher needs to possess should be vast and not limited. However, the most important qualities are good communication skills; thus, being able to communicate their point effectively and able to listen carefully to students facilitating the necessary environment for learning. As well as good communication skills, teachers need to be knowledgeable of their chosen subject and on sociocultural aspects within society. This will allow the teacher to be able to adapt to different people and their values, as schools tend to have students from varying backgrounds and cultures. A good socioeconomic awareness of differences within society would allow the teacher to create a healthy and safe learning environment for all students allowing all students the same platform and environment to learn and succeed in education.
