About Lydia
I am a University Lecturer of 3 years specialising in historic, political, and social contexts throughout history. Experienced in teaching creative writing as well as academic writing. I have a 100% improvement rate when looking at grade achievement by students. I am also keen to support the mental health and wellbeing of anyone I work with.

My teaching method is centred around organic learning - this means allowing the person I am working with to lead the conversation in a way that makes sense to them, to build on the natural thought process of the individual. This means the information I give is more memorable as it is contextualised in the person's mind. I always include elements of wellbeing and mental health support, focusing on stress management and resilience, as well as confidence and self-reflection.

Details
If lessons are cancelled or moved 24 hours in advance there will be no charge. If a lesson is cancelled less that 24 hours beforehand there will be a charge of £10. If a lesson is rearranged less than 24 hours before the original planned time there will be a charge of £5.
If you have last minute issues due to loss of work or change of financial circumstances, please talk to me as I am understanding of these things.
