My teaching approach is rooted for students to learn English through meaningful communication rather than memorization. I focus on creating a space that encourages participation, creativity, and confidence. For younger learners especially, I use songs, games, and storytelling to make learning interactive and enjoyable. I also integrate visuals, gestures, and real-life examples to help students naturally connect new vocabulary with meaning.
Here is an example of a typical lesson plan that I would follow:
1- Warm-Up (5–10 mins): A short, engaging activity like a song, flashcard game, or conversation starter to review prior knowledge.
2-Presentation (10 mins): Introduce new vocabulary or grammar using visuals, context, or storytelling.
3-Practice (15–20 mins): Students practice through guided activities such as role plays, matching games, or sentence-building tasks.
4-Production (10–15 mins): Students use the language more freely — describing pictures, acting out scenarios, or completing creative projects.
5-Review & Reflection (5 mins): A quick recap and feedback to reinforce learning and celebrate progress.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my adaptability and focus on individual learning styles. I understand that every learner has unique strengths, challenges, and motivations. I personalize my lessons to fit those needs, balancing structure with creativity. I’m also patient, positive, and attentive — creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My lessons are designed primarily for young ESL learners (ages 6–12) at the beginner to intermediate level. However, my methods can also adapt to teen or adult learners seeking to improve conversational English, pronunciation, or academic writing.
