About Melisande
I am a recent University of Oxford Graduate, completing my undergraduate degree in Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek, Ancient History, and Philosophy), and subsequently completing a Law conversion diploma, graduating with Distinction.
I have over 100 hours of private tutoring experience, mostly with children ages 7-13, in subjects including English, Maths, Latin, and French, and was also previously employed as a Kumon Maths and English tutor.
My undergraduate degree, as well as being a native French speaker, means I am comfortable teaching French, Latin, and Ancient Greek to GCSE and A-level standard.
I am friendly and passionate about teaching and ensuring my students reach their full potential. My previous experience teaching means I am also patient and understanding and willing to work at a pace that suits each individual student.
