About Faye
I recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a First in English Language and Literature. I have done private tutoring on and off for the last few years, mostly in English and Maths, for a range of ages. I’m also able to help with university applications, especially prep for Oxbridge.

I have a dynamic and flexible teaching style, using a variety of methods to suit every individual. My lessons combine teaching with feedback from the previous lesson - I focus on trying to improve students’ confidence, creating a work environment that is supportive but challenging. All my work is done in line with the relevant school syllabus. I achieved an A* in GCSE English Language, A* in English Literature, and A* in A-level English Literature - I will work with students to improve their skills and confidence.

I would highly recommend Faye as an English tutor. She has helped me prepare for my GCSEs and A-Levels - she is great at building your confidence, and is good at finding new ways to explain difficult concepts.
Faye is an approachable and enthusiastic individual with a deep knowledge and appreciation of English and History and I’d recommend her to anyone as a tutor for these. She is very engaging and well spoken, meaning she explains complicated concepts well whilst building your confidence in dealing with these ideas. Would highly recommend.
