About Anja

As a second year Archaeology & Anthropology student at the University of Oxford, I have developed a deep appreciation for analytical thinking, structured argumentation, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively—skills that are essential for success in essay-based subjects. Having achieved top grades in A-Level History, Religious Studies, and Economics, alongside a strong academic foundation at GCSE, I understand the challenges students face in mastering exam technique and critical engagement with complex material. Teaching enables me to share my passion for these disciplines while helping students refine their writing, develop stronger arguments, and gain confidence in their academic abilities. I believe that education should not only prepare students for exams but also cultivate intellectual curiosity and independent thought—qualities that are invaluable both in higher education and beyond. My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.
