About Alia Fatima
I am a dedicated online writing scholar and educator with over six years of teaching experience and a PhD. Before joining the faculty at the University of Maryland, I spent years teaching K–8 students how to master foundational writing. Today, I work virtually with learners at every stage—from young students building basic sentence mechanics to graduate scholars writing complex master's theses and doctoral dissertations.
Having taught across the entire educational spectrum, I meet you exactly where you are in a collaborative, digital environment. For Thesis & Dissertation Students: We focus on advanced scholarship—refining research design, sharpening core arguments, organizing complex chapters, and polishing grammar, style, and academic tone via live text-edits and video consultation. I also offer asynchronous editing for these sessions.
For K–12 & College Learners: We use engaging, digital exercise-based lessons to build rock-solid fundamentals in sentence structure, paragraph organization, essay drafting, and proofreading.
