When I teach, I focus on the needs of the student. I believe that it's most important to ensure that a student is engaged by the work, so I try to explore how the student can connect the content to their own lives. I believe that it is vital that students learn to write well as a way of expressing themselves.
If you choose to sign up for lessons with me, we'll work together to determine what would be most valuable for you. We can discuss literature you're reading for classes, I can help you to write academic papers, and I can offer advice on other English language and writing skills. I'm also happy to edit papers with you!
