Teaching and learning go hand in hand. Teaching entails creating experiences for students that encourage deep learning. It also involves giving students opportunities to practice using concepts, ideas, and skills, and regularly offering them feedback on their progress. Learning takes place when students develop new ideas and understandings, make sense of their learning experiences, and become more aware of themselves as learners. To engage students in the learning process, I present materials that clearly demonstrate the relevance and practical applications for their lives. This not only imparts crucial subject knowledge but also provides tangible examples of how the content we cover in tutoring can and should be applied in everyday life.
