About Fatima
I am a dedicated and approachable mentor who is passionate about academia. Currently being a student myself, undergoing a BSc Psychology degree at the University of Birmingham, I am aware of the complexities that come with learning and enhancing cognitive function. I incorporate various strategies such as retrieval practise, evaluative thought processing and timed application towards questions within my teaching to enable focused revision and to ensure that the student has understood the concepts well. Having thoroughly studied the British curriculum for years and having attained straight A*s and A's at A-level in English Literature, Psychology and Government and Politics; alongside pursuing a BSc Psychology degree that is in progress, I feel confident in assisting those in need of aid within English Literature, English Language and Psychology. Specialising, in both creative and scientific styles of academic writing. Additionally, as well as exam preparation, I also help prepare UCAS personal statements and offer a proofreading service for essays at GCSE and A-Level. I have had experience in teaching students of all ages and abilities, and provide a friendly online learning environment for those looking for a tutor.
