About Rachel
I recently graduated with a degree in English with a concentration in Literary Studies. I won The Lee J. Harrer Book Collecting Award during my time in college, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Most importantly, I have a true passion for the subject. Before the end of college and craziness with finals, I was reading over 50 books a month, for both academic and leisure purposes.

Lessons are tailored to individual student goals, level of understanding, and specific area of difficulty. I believe that literacy is an extremely pertinent aspect to an individual's success in life. I love reading, writing, and everything that comes with the subject. But, I understand that not everyone has that same love. My goal with my students is to tailor their lessons around their interests, goals, and things that they can relate to. This keeps them engaged and interested. I understand the frustration that comes with not understanding something, particularly when other students around you seem to understand the subject. I aim to help my students feel more confident and secure in their English knowledge overall.
