I start by asking about your exam board and will make sure I can accommodate for it. This will be followed by understanding your concerns and specific areas that you would like to work on. This will allow me to help you achieve the grades you would like. We will go through example essays, annotations, examiners' reports and I will guide you through the techniques needed to achieve the grades 8/9. I will set homework that is manageable and that works around the student's timetable. At the start of each lesson I will check in with the student on anything they would like to cover and make sure they are confident with everything covered so far.
