About Jun

I have a bachelor's degree in communication studies (York University) and am pursuing my master's at York University. I prefer to tutor students from high school grades 10-12 and undergraduate university students. I can teach students how to write essays but also help with their school assignments. For the past 20 years, I never did well in school and I barely graduated from high school. In my 2nd year of university, I got suspended. After my suspension, my mom hired a tutor and he has helped me to reflect on myself and change my whole approach to studying and living life. Since 2017 I have been consistently receiving top marks in university and I have won many scholarships and graduated university as an honor roll student. I truly believe if I can receive good marks anyone can.

About the lesson

My lessons are a bit unique compared to most teachers and tutors because students have to engage with me a lot. Also, I will not only teach students how to write essays but also help them to learn about themselves. Essays are interconnected with life and for students to truly learn how to write good essays they have to learn who they are. I am also very happy to help students with their courses which are essay related. If anyone has more questions about my lesson please contact me!

The strength of this student is his strong grammar mechanics and sharp thinking. He can improve his content and organization in his essay writing. He wants to learn and is disciplined so I am very positive that he will improve very soon, especially with my guidance.
