About Malana

I am a third year university student at London Metropolitan University, studying Film&TV Production, currently working towards obtaining a first-class degree!

I have always loved learning, and first found my enjoyment of teaching when I led small tutoring session in my secondary school at the age of 16 in English literature, having been asked to do so by classmates.

All the feedback I have received from previous students has been overwhelmingly positive, and my work background in care has allowed me to develop my professionalism and interpersonal skills to match my abilities in English, which has led to my continued assistance of classmates in university, with both essay writing and creative writing endeavours.

English is a subject where there is a niche for everybody, and I hope to help students find theirs with my tutoring sessions!

About the lesson

I have had previous experiences tutoring for both GCSE students, and for primary school students in various aspects of English, including literature, poetry, spelling and reading comprehension. English is a subject I have always loved, and hope that I can help others come to love it through their tutoring sessions with me!

I teach in hour-long lessons so as to not overwhelm the student, but am happy to extend this for situations such as exam preparations etc. I am happy and bale to construct lesson plans and activities to best suit the needs of the student and the way that they work best; as it is always my primary goal to make sure they are getting the most out of the lesson they can.

My skills are best suited for years 5-10, and GCSE exam preparation, as this pertains to my background in tutoring and my online-based work.
