About Nam Long
Hi! I'm a university student who's been playing guitar for over 12 years. I've had the chance to perform at lots of concerts and live events, and one of my favorite parts of playing is improvisation and lead guitar. I enjoy learning different genres and picking up new techniques, so I'm happy with teaching a wide range of styles.
I grew up listening to Metallica and Megadeth, but over the years my taste has evolved towards players like Polyphia, Marty Friedman's solo work, Guthrie Govan, and Matteo Mancuso.
Back in school, I ran the school's music club, where I spent a lot of time teaching, jamming with, and supporting other members before performances. Those experiences taught me how to explain things in a simple, practical way.
I prefer keeping lessons relaxed and enjoyable. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, improve your soloing, or just get more confident with the guitar, I'll adapt the lessons to what you want to achieve.

I offer casual guitar lessons tailored to each student's interests and goals. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar, covering genres including rock, blues, indie, metal, fingerstyle, and basic jazz. One of my strengths is improvisation, and I'm happy to help you develop your soloing, ear training. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, improve your technique, or explore different styles, I'll adapt each lesson to suit you. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for beginners, intermediate players, or anyone who simply wants to enjoy playing guitar.

I know Long as we went to the same high school together. Long is a very passionate and professional guiter player.
