About Kayla

After completing 4-unit English in the HSC and graduating as an HSC Distinguished Achiever, I underwent an artist mentorship and received grants to write and develop a tv series. Since, I have studied a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Gender Studies, and will soon commence my Honours in the ecohumanities. In an age of technological upheaval, I understand the urgency of cultivating critical thinking, curiosity, and passion for English.

I have been tutoring English with students on a long-term basis for 4 years, working particularly close with a student with initially little interest in English from year 9 through to the HSC. This student improved their English skills as well was interest in reading following our tutoring.

About the lesson

I offer a breadth of support, ranging from English text in-depth study, assessment support, general writing and analysis skills, and broader support with study and organisational habits.

In an age of technological upheaval, I appeal to the interests of my students and meet them at their level to affirm and cultivate their English potential. I offer lessons for high school students for 60 to 120 minutes.
