About Renee
Hi everyone! My name is Renee and I’ve been teaching English for about 3 years. I’m passionate about helping students not only improve their writing skills but also discover their own creative voice. Outside of teaching, I’m a poet and I also currently serve as an editor for my university’s neuroscience magazine (Greys matter), where I get to work closely with student writers. Over the past few years of teaching, many students have shown strong improvement in English grades, which I’m really proud of. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through both teaching and creative writing, and I look forward to helping students grow as confident and thoughtful communicators.

My lessons are fun and interactive while creating an environment where students feel encouraged to speak up, take risks, and believe in themselves. My classroom is a space where mistakes are seen as opportunities to grow. Before each lesson, I will prepare slides and activities to do in class based on the student's skill level so as not to make it too easy or too challenging. I also encourage students to reach out to me before class if there are specific questions that they would like to go over as well.
