About Ryan

I am an alumni of University of Nebraska Kearney with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business. My more than twenty-five year musical journey has covered a wide variety of styles and contexts, including marching, symphonic band, jazz, musicals, choir, pop/rock, and heavy metal. I won the Louis Armstrong award for jazz excellence in high school, and performed in St. Peter’s Square on the World Day of Peace in college. Over the past decade I have performed in various bands and venues in the Omaha area, and in my spare time I like to dabble in DIY audio production.

Lessons will begin with a discussion of your interests and goals. Then we will dive into some fundamentals (for a beginner) while also keeping some favorite tunes in mind as our north star. My #1 goal is to get you playing melodies that are familiar to you and make you excited to play as soon as possible, while not skipping over any of the building blocks.

Lessons are not actually held in my home but at the "Elite Music Lessons" studio in Omaha. Business Location is not currently an option in the ad settings. I am currently only offering in person lessons, no virtual.

Every musical journey begins with a single note, so don’t hesitate to reach out and book your first piano lesson today!

Details

"Packs" above are not necessarily reflective of how I do business, Superprof is just fairly rigid in its settings currently. We typically charge by the calendar month, so payments will be made in groups or 4 or 5 lessons. $140-175 per month for a 30 minute time slot, or $280-350 for an hour slot, depending on if there are 4 or 5 lessons for the month. There is no 10-hour package and I do not travel.

For the time being I will honor the "1st Session Free" policy for students who find me on Superprof. So feel free to schedule a session free of charge for us to get to know each other and talk details!
