About Aurelia
With over 11 years of guitar tutoring experience, I am dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals. Specializing in fingerstyle, jazz, and music theory, I offer tailored lessons designed to cater to individual learning styles and preferences. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player aiming to refine your skills, I provide comprehensive guidance to enhance your musical journey.
Beyond teaching, I am a passionate musician who enjoys exploring various genres and techniques. My own musical journey has been enriched by years of studying and performing, which has given me a deep understanding of the guitar's versatility and expressive potential. I believe in creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can develop their unique sound and style. My approach emphasizes practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and creative expression, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that complement my love for music. Reading allows me to continually expand my knowledge and stay updated with the latest trends in music education and theory. Hiking provides a refreshing escape into nature, offering inspiration and a sense of tranquility that fuels my creativity. Additionally, I have a keen interest in photography, particularly capturing landscapes and night skies, which allows me to blend my artistic passions and explore the world through a different lens.

With 11 years of experience in guitar tutoring, I am committed to helping students unlock their musical potential. My lessons are meticulously tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each student, whether they are just beginning their guitar journey or looking to master advanced techniques. Specializing in fingerstyle, jazz, and music theory, I provide a comprehensive approach that combines practical skills with a deep understanding of musical concepts.
In my lessons, I emphasize the importance of a strong technical foundation. Students learn essential techniques and exercises that build dexterity, precision, and confidence on the guitar. Alongside technical practice, I incorporate music theory to help students understand the structure and language of music. This dual focus ensures that students not only improve their playing skills but also develop a thorough comprehension of the music they are performing and creating.
Creativity and expression are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to explore their own musical interests and styles, fostering a sense of individuality and artistic freedom. Through personalized instruction, students are guided to develop their unique sound and voice on the guitar. Whether it's interpreting a jazz standard, crafting intricate fingerstyle arrangements, or composing original pieces, my goal is to inspire and support students in their musical endeavors, making each lesson a rewarding and enriching experience.
